Text Alerts Opt-In

This is the opt-in screen Harborside Chapel staff see inside VowPath after signing in. Text alerts are optional and limited to Harborside Chapel staff.

The opt-in screen

Staff reach it from Settings, under Notification Settings. Shown below with a sample number, in the state a staff member starts from.

• The consent box starts unchecked. It is never checked for anyone.
• The switch cannot turn on until a valid US mobile number is entered and the box is checked.
• Turning the switch on records the number, the time of consent, and the version of the wording agreed to.
• Turning the switch off stops text alerts. Staff can do this at any time.

Confirmation message

Sent once, right after a staff member turns text alerts on:

Harborside Chapel: You are now opted in to VowPath booking alerts by text. Msg frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP. To opt out, reply STOP.

STOP and HELP

• Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You will receive one message confirming the opt-out, and no further alerts are sent.
• Reply HELP for help. The reply reads:
